MPGS

Mastercard Gateway offers a single connection to help you accept payments globally and expand into new markets more easily.

Prerequisites

Requirements are as follows:

  1. An MPGS account, including:
    • Merchant Id
    • Password (only if you dont wish to use certificate authentication)
    • SSL Certificate (only if you wish to use certificate authentication)

Setup the service

  1. Select Services on the left navigation panel
  2. Click on the Add New tab
  3. Go to the Service Group dropdown list and select Gateway Services
  4. Click on Activate next to Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS)
  5. Complete the required fields:
    • Merchant - Your MPGS Merchant Id
    • Password - Your MPGS Password (leave this blank if using certificate authentication)
  6. Select the environment
  7. Click Connect

If you wish to enable wallet payments. Please see Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Get your Gateway ID

  1. Select Services on the left navigation panel
  2. Click on the Connected Services tab
  3. Go to the Service Group dropdown list and select Gateway Services
  4. Note the ID as this will be used for API calls
